Idaho State at BYU

BYU has now won 33 straight at home, and it is one of the most difficult places to play in the country. Idaho State put a scare into them here last year, but 54 of the 78 points Idaho State scored in that game are gone. A team that finished 13-17, has lost its top three scorers from a year ago including an All-Conference player, and their talented PG. Matt Stucki is the leading returning scorer at just 7.9-ppg. Idaho State dropped their opener at Iowa by 15. Iowa is expected to finish last in the Big-10 this year, and not a single player scored more than 10 points, and they shot 1-20 from three-point range. That won't get it done in this one. BYU won the Mountain West Conference last season and will likely do it again this season. Trent Plaisted is the league’s best player and will dominate this Idaho State team down low. This is a team loaded with players that can shoot. Cummard (55.3%), Tavernari (55.2%) and Burgess (51.5%) can all put the ball in the basket. If their domination of inexperienced Long Beach State on the road by 40 is any indication of what this team is capable of, a duplicate performance against a weak Idaho State team is in order.
