This is a revenge game for LSU, which lost in overtime to Houston last season. The Tigers are 4-2 so far this season even though it was expected to be sort of a rebuilding year with Ben Simmons off to the NBA. LSU still has Antonio Blakeney at guard and he and Skylar Mays scored 14 points apiece in an 85-74 loss to favored Virginia Commonwealth on Friday. The Tigers defeated Old Dominion the previous night in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas and have previous wins over Southern Miss and North Florida. Houston is 5-0 but this will be its first true road game and toughest test of the season thus far. The Cougars are led by Rob Gray Jr., who averages 18.8 points per game and Devin Davis, who pulls down nine rebounds per contest. The Tigers are getting points at home but there is great value in an outright win. Play LSU on the moneyline.
