Houston improved to 31-5 straight up and 24-12 ATS with its 68-53 win over Illinois. Taze Moore scored 21 points while Jamal Shead added 18 points for the Cougars, whose ability to defend well without fouling is one of the best in the country. Houston allows just a .375 field goal percentage and 59.0 points per game this season, and the Cougars have covered the spread five in a row and nine of 10. Arizona was a 9.5-point favorite against TCU, but it had to go overtime to win it, even though the Horned Frogs shot only 35.1%. The Wildcats didn't cover either of their first two games in the tournament, and they are 0-4 ATS in their last four NCAA Tournament games (3-10 ATS in their last 13 neutral site games when favored). Houston is 25-9 ATS at neutral sites and 12-3 ATS overall as an underdog. Also, Kelvin Sampson's teams are 36-15 ATS versus teams with .600 or higher winning percentages. Take Houston for a Max Play.
