Holy Cross is the first Patriot League squad to ever win a postseason game by shocking the Fighting Irish 78-73 as 7-point underdogs in last Tuesday's in the opening round. They now set their sights on the St. Joseph's Hawks in round-two of the NIT. The Crusaders may be worth a serious look at 5-point underdogs as they did go 25-6 on the season including 12-3 on the road with wins at Notre Dame and an impressive 3-point loss at Boston College. Then again, the Crusaders having posted it's first postseason victory in 24-years may be too caught up in the sudden success and get blown out by Hawks who sport a solid 9-3 against-the-spread mark laying six or less points. The Hawks just missed the cover in their 5-point win against Bufalo on Saturday. They are 10-2 ATS after a game where they failed to cover the spread this season. Two stars on St. Joe's.
