Hofstra at NC Wilmington

The NC Wilmington Seahawks have justifiable losses to Minnesota, and Louisville on the season, but at 5-6 through 11 games there are some bad losses already that has exposed this team as not being very good. The Seahawks have dropped games to Campbell, but 20+ point losses to Old Dominion, Ohio University, and Davidson show a lack of competitiveness. Hofstra has been down for a bit, but the program is turning the corner at 9-4 on the season. Of greater importance is the fact that they are winning the games they are supposed to win. Their last five games vs. a team with a losing record has left them at 4-0-1 ATS, and they have elevated their play in conference games at 14-6-2 ATS in their last 22. The Seahawks are just 7-16-2 ATS in their last 25 when following a loss, and the Pride are a perfect 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings. We have teams heading in opposite directions, so Hofstra gets the call in this one.
