Hampton at Elon

The Hampton Pirates at 8-23 on the season will face the 13-18 Elon Phoenix in the first round of the Coastal Athletic Conference Tournament. Both these teams have struggled during the season, but each has a chance of extending their season, so expect a dog fight here. Once again we have a mostly unfamiliar shooting background. Hampton won the only meeting between these teams at home, and this should be eqully contested despite the difference in the records. These teams have met just one other time outside of this season and both games have played UNDER the total. Elon has played to a 23-8 mark in all conference tournament games since 1997, and I expect this one to follow suit. Make the play UNDER the total.
