Grand Canyon vs. Southern Utah

New Mexico St. has been a force in the WAC, but the program suspended itself over so many bad things that were happening. That opened the door for Grand Canyon and Southern Utah, each with more than 20 wins on the season, to try and claim the NCAA Tournament berth tonight. These teams played a high-scoring game in their last meeting, but with so much on the line tonight it would not be surprising to see the defenses step up and the teams show some nerves at least early in the contest. Grand Canyon has shot over 50% in five-straight games, so there is something to be said about a regression here, especially in a Championship game. I like this one UNDER the total.
