Grambling State at Providence

There is certainly a gaping amount in terms of talent between these two teams, but that is baked into the line, and in this case may be over done some. Providence Coach Ed Cooley has done a good recruiting job there, but he returns just two starters from a year ago, and this does not look like a team that is as talented as they were a year ago. They are young and not real deep. The Friars have not defended well enough to be a 25-plus point favorite here. Grambling is 0-2 to start the season, and they have taken a methodical approach with both games averageing under 100 total shots taken. That pace is going to make it difficult for the Friars to get the kind of separation here they need to get over a huge number. Make the play on Grambling.
