Georgia State at Middle Tenn State

Georgia State won last year's meeting 64-62 and the Panthers have won five of their last seven games this season, although they do come off a 58-46 loss at Old Dominion. Devin Mitchell was the only player in double figures with 11 points against the Monarchs as both teams had bad shooting performances. Middle Tennessee State lost 80-77 at Virginia Commonwealth as the Blue Raiders couldn't overcome the Rams' .526 field goal percentage.  Giddy Potts led MTSU with 25 points and JaCorey Williams finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds. The teams have similar defensive stats with the Panthers allowing just 41.3 percent from the field compared to 42.2 for the Blue Raiders. The points loom large in this matchup, so take them and play Georgia State.
