A few short years ago, the Citadel program was a disaster and a laughing stock as just generating a single win was worth a celebration. Fast forward, and last year they went to Davidson and won by 18 points - their biggest win in program history. They closed the season at 12-1 and closed the gap on the upper tier of the Southern Conference, doormats no more. Georgia Southern has found the early going on the road most difficult sporting a 0-4 mark to date on the young season. They have been abysmal on the road as a small dog as they are 1-10 ATS in their last 11 as a road dog of 6.5 or less. This is not a good spot for them here vs. a revived Citadel program that will not let a win escape them at home. The Citadel gets the win and cover.
