Georgia Southern at Furman

This is the earliest conference opener for each of these teams ever, and right now Furman enters at 0-3. Georgia Southern got by UAB, Cleveland State and Stetson to win the Glen Wilkes Classic. The Eagles have the ability to dominate the glass in this one, and are getting balanced scoring, playing solid defense and getting great PG play from Dwayne Foreman, who is averaging 9 points per game to go with his six assists per game. The Paladins are not shooting well, getting banged up on the boards, and are just a much-less talented team at this point, and we will ride Georgia Southern to win the conference opener.
