It was five years ago that George Mason made their run to the Final Four. While this team still seems to get credit for that, it's an entirely different team. Jared Sullinger was in 8th grade then and he doesn't care about what happened five years ago. I love the Cinderellas, but this one isn't finding its slipper today. Ohio State is the vastly superior team. Their only losses came on the road against Wisconsin and Purdue. On the road this team was 13-2 and their defense stacks up with anyone's in the country. Mason is just 2-6 ATS in their last eight neutral-site games as an underdog. I like Ohio State to win and cover. I also like the UNDER. Both of these teams like to slow it down, each averaging just 55 shots per game. The Patriots have held opponents to 61.4 per game on the season and 60.0 over their last five. Ohio State has done even better, holding opponents to 59.4 on the season and 58.6 over their last five. When playing the best teams, Ohio State plays even better defense. The Buckeyes are 45-27 UNDER in their last 72 vs. teams at .800 or better. They are also 49-31 UNDER in the Thad Matta era as a double-digit favorite. Under Jim Larranaga, George Mason is 25-14 UNDER in neutral-court games. Take Ohio State and the UNDER here.
