They opted for an aggressive early season schedule that had them at 3-4 to start the season, but they have run off eight straight wins. They will be squaring off against an up-and-coming Fresno State club, that is 11-5, and also put together an aggressive out-of-conference schedule resulting in three of their losses coming at the hands of New Mexico, Arizona, and Oregon. They certainly have the talent to compete here on equal ground as they proved at UNLV winning outright as an eight-point dog.
