Fordham at St. Joseph's

Fordham is a big dog here, but has a strong backcourt and has lost the last two games by 12 and 11 points. They were a dog to Rhode Island recently, as well, and won, 85-79. The Rams have the top scoring backcourt in the Atlantic 10 with senior guard Branden Frazier, a preseason third team All-Atlantic 10 pick, and freshman guard Jon Severe. Severe is a four-time Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, and is averaging an Atlantic 10-best 19.1 points per game, #5 among NCAA Division I freshmen, while Frazier is right behind him, averaging 18.2 ppg for fourth best in the conference. Saint Joseph's has an easy schedule the rest of the way and is in great shape for the #2 spot in the Atlantic 10 tourney, but won't be able to catch top-seeded St. Louis, a team they recently lost to, 65-49. Saint Joseph's has won three in a row since then, but by just 3, 11 and 7 points and played this Fordham team to a 66-62 victory in one of the meetings last season.
