Florida State might be better known for football but these kids can play hoops, too, tops in the ACC in steals and blocked shots. The Seminoles were the winningest team in the ACC last season with six wins against nationally ranked opponents and have defeated ten nationally ranked in the last three seasons. Florida State overcame as much as a 13-point deficit to defeat Clemson 60-57 on Thursday and now heads to rival Miami, the only unbeaten ACC team. The Seminoles are 7-2 ATS in their last nine road games, 7-2 ATS against the ACC and a sizzling 7-1 ATS in their last eight road games against a team with a winning home record. Miami comes off that shellacking of No. 1 Duke, so it's a let down spot. The pressure is on the Hurricanes to stay unbeaten in the conference, but let's remember before they beat Duke they were fortunate to squeak by BC, 60-59, as 6-point chalk, and beat Maryland by 7. They've also lost to Arizona and Indiana State, the latter in OT. The Seminoles have won 17 of their last 24 regular season ACC games (.708 winning percentage) after finishing with a school record 12-4 conference record and in third place in the ACC standings last year. And the Seminoles are 6-2-1 ATS in the last nine meetings in Miami-Florida. Play Florida State.
