Florida State at Maryland

The Maryland Terrapins have snuck up on people. They are off to a 13-1 start on the season, and are an unblemished 11-0 at home. Their only loss was a neutral-site heartbreaker in their opener vs. Kentucky by just 3 points. The competition at home has been on the light side, but the Kentucky game validated that this team can play, and no one has come within 7 points of them here yet. Florida State has a couple of nice wins for their resume, but also a couple of puzzling losses to Mercer and South Alabama. They may be able to hang in here, but at this point have played just two on the road, and they simply aren't ready to win a game of this magnitude on the road, vs. a confident quality opponent.
