Florida vs. Texas A&M

Texas A&M was the regular season winner in the SEC, and it ended a 17 year drought for the Aggies between a conference championship. There certainly is not a whole lot of history behind the Aggies, as you have to go all the way back to 1980 and the old Southwest Conference to find an Aggies team with a regular season and conference tournament title in the same year. The Aggies own the number one seed and a bye, moving them into the second round, which is the furthest they have ever gotten in the SEC Tournament, and last year they were upset in their first game by Auburn. The Aggies need to be careful here, as the emotion of a championship may have them flat. Florida is 19-13, had a big win vs. Arkansas in the opener yesterday, and a win here in this game gets them into the NCAA Tournament talk. Look for a strong effort by the Gators, while the Aggies may still be celebrating and could get caught in this one. Play on Florida.
