Florida at George Washington

The Florida Gators and the George Washington Colonels look to join Valpo and BYU at the Garden for the NIT Championship round. George Washington is 25-10 on the season, but a 4-3 close to the season saw their NCAA Tournament hopes destroyed. They came out in their NIT opener with a win, then handled Monmouth, a team many thought should be in the Big Dance, rather easily. Florida brings in a 21-14 record from the SEC, but there may lie the problem. The SEC is considered to be one of the top conferences in the country year in and year out. That certainly hasn't been the case this year, as the SEC sent just one team to the Sweet 16, and that is Texas A&M who neede a miracle finish down 12 with :44 seconds left to make it there. The Gators finished 6-7 down the stretch, and haven't exactly been a reliable team, at one point going through a 1-8 ATS stretch. George Washington is home, will be the more motivated and better team. Make the play on George Washington.
