Florida Atlantic has gotten off to a 3-2 start, but they have faced some very soft opponents. Their most recent loss by 10 points to American University does not bode well for what they will see tonight. Gators coach Billy Donovan has his team back in the top 25, and has them reloaded to make a run in the SEC as well as the national picture. This team can run and rebound, but most of all this team gets high percentage shots. They feature six of their top eight scorers connecting at over 50% from the field, and they are hitting 52% as a team from the field. The Owls have not gotten it done vs winning teams where they have been 0-7 ATS in their last seven. The Gators are flying high vs. the Sun Belt where they are 4-1 ATS in their last five. Florida is 46-26 ATS in their last 72 games after back-to-back ATS losses. That includes an 18-7 ATS mark after three straight losses vs. the spread.
