Fairfield at Duke

The Duke Blue Devils won by 69 points last night. There is nothing impressive about a huge win vs .a team that is far inferior, but there was something impressive about the win. Coach K has a lot of depth on this team, and some players that got major minutes last season, will be fighting to get them this year. That means when Duke goes up big, the chances of a back door cover are slim, as the Dukie's second team is fighting for minutes, and made of some very good players. Fairfield is in the deep end of the pool in this one. Fairfield failed to win consecutive games last season, resulting in just seven wins on the season to a soft schedule, and lost their leading scorer. Look for another major blowout win here by Coach K's boys. Play on Duke.
