Eastern Michigan held Vermont to just 30.8 percent from the field in Friday's 70-50 win as Willie Mangum scored 18 points and James Thompson IV and Brandon Nazione pulled down 11 and 10 rebounds, respectively. The Eagles were only 2-of-11 themselves with three-point attempts while shooting 43.1 percent overall. Unfortunately for Eastern Michigan, they return only one starter this season. Oakland lost to Eastern Illinois 97-91 as the Grizzlies were 10-of-36 from beyond the arc. Kahlil Felder was a one-man show with 37 points and 11 assists and Dante Williams added 19 points. The Grizzlies shot only 40.4 percent from the field if you take away Felder's performance. Take Eastern Michigan and Oakland to stay UNDER the total.
