East Carolina at SMU

Along with Cincinnati, the SMU Mustangs once again appear to be the class of the AAC. The Mustangs are 18-4 on the season, and at 8-1 in conference play they trail the Bearcats by just a half game. This is a "breather alert" for SMU as their next three games are all against teams at or near the top of the conference in Tulsa, Temple (better than the conference record), and Cincinnati. East Carolina will not get their full focus in this one. Although the Pirates are 10-12 on the season, are playing better by covering four straight games. On the season they have been a perfect 4-0 ATS as a double-digit dog. Take the points on East Carolina.
