East Carolina at Connecticut

The UConn Huskies are not a blowout type of team as they seem to play up or down to the level of competition. This has been an ongoing process. Since the start of the 2006 season, the Huskies have just 14 conference wins by 17 points or more. East Carolina is improving, and their last three games vs. Memphis, Houston, and Temple saw no margin for either team greater than four points. And while I think the Huskies will come away with the win, it isn't going to be in blowout fashion. UConn is just 12-23 ATS as a favorite from -15 to -26.5 over the last decade, and I look for the Pirates to sneak in under the number here. Make the play on East Carolina.
