Eastern Kentucky at Tenn Martin

Tennessee Martin made great progress last year but they have lost their top three scorers and for teams on this level of basketball, it usually takes some time to get the team back up to a decent level. The problem with losing all its scoring punch has left Tenn. Martin with only one double digit scorer in JUCO transfer Robinson, and a team that shoots just 40% from the floor. It usually means long droughts between buckets, and ultimately a loss. They have started a dismal 3-9, and have yet to beat a D-1A team at home. E. Kentucky is off to a much better start than most expected at 7-3. They have a nice balance of scoring on this team, and have shot and defended well enough to be in games, and ultimately win them. Teams on this level usually struggle on the road, but E. kentucky has already claimed two outright wins as a road dog and have now won 8 of their last 12 road games. It is a team just under the radar and we will give the tiny points with a team that has proven they are road warriors.
