Duke at Wake Forest

Duke is 12-2 straight-up but just 6-6-1 ATS as the Blue Devils, as usual, have to cover some big point spreads. Duke beat Boston College on Saturday 81-64 as Brandon Ingram scored 25 points and Grayson Allen and Luke Kennard chipped in 17 points apiece. Duke shot 55.1 percent from the field compared to 42.9 percent for the Eagles. Wake Forest lost at Louisville 65-57, but easily covered the 14.5 pointspread despite shooting only 39.3 percent from the floor. Devin Thomas and Bryant Crawford led with 14 points each and Thomas and Konstantinos Mitoglu each grabbed 10 rebounds. The Demon Deacons wanted to become a better defensive team this season and they are improved, allowing opponents 44.0 percent from the floor. Wake has won five of its last seven games with the only losses came against powerhouses Xavier and Louisville. The Demon Deacons have covered the number six of the last eight meetings.
