Mississippi State has gotten out to a 2-0 start and will play their third straight home game vs the Detroit Titans. The Titans won their last game against a lowly regarded Indiana Tech, but were over-matched in their first two against New Mexico and Syracuse. The Titans don't have a lot of firepower, with just three players averaging in double-figures on the season, and that is a problem on the road vs BCS Conference teams that are much deeper and more athletic. Mississippi State will have the two best players on the court with Ravern Johnson and his 25.5ppg and Kodi Augustus netting 20ppg. The Titans have been brought back down to Earth after a 20 point, or more, win as they have followed by going 0-5 ATS in their last five. I'm on Mississippi State in this one.
