DePaul at St. John's

DePaul has struggled the last several years, but it has had some success against St. John's covering the spread six of the last eight meetings. The Red Storm did win the first meeting this season 79-73 on Jan. 1 with Marcus LoVett scoring 22 points and Eli Cain leading the Blue Demons with 18 points.  St. John's hasn't won since, losing four in a row, including 70-57 to Villanova on Saturday. Shamorie Ponds was the leading scorer with only 13 points as the Red Storm shot just 40.0 percent. Both teams shoot nearly 43 percent from the field this season and have similar defensive stats. St. John's is 4-11 ATS its last 15 games as a favorite and has covered just two of its last eight home games. Take the points and play DePaul.
