Dartmouth at Columbia

The Columbia Lions have played well at home, bringing an 8-2 mark into this one. This is still a team that has been a double-digit dog three times on the season, and has not been favored by more than 5.5 in any game. They are now asked to double that mark. The fact is that the last time this team was a 10+ point favorite in any game, it was against this same Dartmouth team all the way back to the 2007-08 season. As an -11.5 point favorite, not only did they not get the cover, but they lost by 15. Dartmouth, as usual, finds themselves on the bottom of the Ivy League standings, but this number is much too high and an unfamiliar role for the Lions. I will play Dartmouth, taking the points in this one.
