CS Northridge at Pepperdine

The Cal State-Northridge Matadors gave it their all in the opener under new head coach Mark Gottfried. They lost to New Mexico on a last-second three-pointer despite being a +15 dog. Gottfried's teams have quick, efficient offenses. They lit it up against a New Mexico team that won 19 games last season as Northridge finished with 84 points. They are a big dog again to a Pepperdine squad that was 6-26 last season.
