CS Northridge at Cal Irvine

Cal Irvine suffered one of its worst performances of the season in its 58-54 loss to Cal State Fullerton as a five-point favorite on Wednesday. The Anteaters shot only 34.7 percent and lost even though they held the Titans to just a 31.4 shooting percentage. Luke Nelson led Irvine with 20 points, but on five of 15 shooting, and Jaron Martin was the only other player in double figures with 12 points. CS Northridge has won four of its last seven, but needs to bounce back from its 96-85 loss at UC Davis, which shot 61.4 percent. Darin Johnson led the Matadors with 24 points in a losing cause.
