Cal State Bakersfield at UCLA

UCLA lost in the NCAA semifinals on a half-court shot by Gonzaga, and the Bruins return most of their starters. They are near the top of the preseason rankings in coach Mick Cronin's third year at the helm. Johnny Juzang is a candidate for Pac-12 Player of the Year after averaging 16.0 points per game and excelling in the NCAA Tournament. Point guard Tyger Campbell returns along with Jaime Jaquez, who averaged 12.3 points and 6.1 rebounds. The Bruins also have the luxury of a deep bench. Cal State Bakersfield went 15-11 last season, but they lost two starting guards in De'Monte Buckingham and Czar Perry.
