Creighton at Dayton

The Creighton Blue Jays are one of the most consistent programs in the country. This mid-major seems to never skip a beat as there are always players coming into the program to off-set losses and they remain highly competitive year after year. Dayton surged onto the national scene with a big year last season and more of the same is expected this year. The Blue Jays are picked to finish at or near the top of the MVC and have a lot of talented guards and wing players, as well as an emerging 6-9 Kenny Lawson and, if he progresses the way he did last year, the Blue Jays will be in the Tournament again. Dayton is talented and deep with four returning starters from a 27 win team a year ago, but the Blue Jays never go easy. I like them to hang tough as usual here and I'll back them with the points.
