Cornell at Harvard

The Ivy League was once a two-horse race with Princeton and Penn dominating the top, but a couple of teams have had their day in the sun recently in Cornell and now Harvard. Cornell was carrying the Ivy banner for a few years, but has slipped back. It is now Harvard that is dominating the Ivy under Tommy Amaker. The Crimson is 18-2 and appears destined for the NCAA Tournament regardless of their finish in the Ivy. As a result, they are now facing big numbers to tackle vs. Ivy opponents. The -15 posted here is close to their their tallest order to date vs. an Ivy foe since being hung as a 22-point choice over Dartmouth, where they failed to get the money. Again in their most recent game vs. brown they could not overcome the -16 hung on them for that one. The Big Red is drawing big numbers as they are 0-9 on the road, but have covered as an +8.5 or more dog on the road in all three occurrences this season, including a pair in the Big-10. The Big Red has shined in this role as they are 17-6 ATS in their last 23 when taking 13 or more. Play on Cornell in this one.
