The University of Connecticut has been surprised the entire season. They rolled to five straight wins in the Big East Conference Tournament in as many days, to take the conference post-season crown. Kemba Walker has been amazing and his young cast of Husky pups have all been up and down, but contributing enough for the Huskies to find their way to the sweet sixteen. San Diego State may be from a mid-level conference, but they have big conference size and athleticism. What they have inside, that could cause Walker problems, is an eraser in Malcolm Thomas, who has 75 blocks, erases the few mistakes the Aztec defense makes. This is a team that held 16 opponents to 55 points or less this season and 23 of their last 33 to UNDER 60. The Huskies struggle at times to score with young players and will struggle more here as well. The Huskies have Alex Oriachki inside, who plays big sometimes and disappears others. The Aztecs have a huge advantage in the paint which will be the difference in this one. The Aztecs are 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 vs teams over .600 and 15-6 to the UNDER after a win. This one goes to San Diego State and the UNDER.
