The UConn Huskies may be the biggest surprise in the nation at 16-2. The Huskies lost a lot of pieces, had a lot of off-court recruiting issues, and have a roster that includes eight freshmen and two sophomores. Nonetheless, the Huskies have made a lot of noise, but still have limited road experience. With so many young players vs. a very competent Marquette team that is 11-1 at home will spell trouble for the Husky pups. The top eight Golden Eagle scorers feature seven that shoot 48% or better from the field. If UConn is vulnerable, it is inconsistent shooting, which could rear its ugly head on the road. The Golden Eagles are an impressive 21-8-1 ATS in their last 30 Big East games. I respect that the Huskies can stay close here, but I will play Marquette on the moneyline.
