Connecticut at Marquette

This is the Big East opener for UConn and Marquette, with both teams off to good starts on the season. The Huskies had a lot of departures, but none were bigger than Jim Calhoun. But, Kevin Ollie is fresh off of signing a five-year deal to lead the Huskies, and has done a great job. The Huskies have excellent guard play, and are deep in the backcourt. Now that Big East play gets underway, their lack of quality in the frontcourt will be exposed. UConn has out-rebounded just one team on the season, and are going to get hammered off the glass here. Marquette has the guard quickness, size and experience inside, and the home-court edge here. That will be good enough to get the straight-up win. Take Marquette on the moneyline.
