Colgate vs. Yale

Yale was the preseason favorite to win the Ivy League and the Bulldogs are off to a 2-1 start after its 83-80 win over Loyola Marymount on Sunday. The Bulldogs shot 49 percent and went 5-for-8 on 3-pointers and Bez Mbeng poured in 28 points and Matt Knowling added 16 for Yale. They are two of the best players in the Ivy League and are two of the four returning starters for the Bulldogs. Colgate has split its first two games and lost to Syracuse for the first time in three meetings 79-75 as the Raiders were outscored 49-29 in the second half after holding a 46-30 halftime lead.
