Colgate got stomped by Illinois in its opener, a 20-point loss, and now plays at Marquette of the Big East. They shot 39%, trailed 43-25 at the half and got beat on the glass 46-31. It doesn't get any easier today. Marquette is itching to play this one as their opener against Ohio State was cancelled. Marquette is a strong all around group, starting with senior point guard Junior Cadougan, who averaged 6.3 points and 5.4 assists in 28.6 minutes per game. Guard Vander Blue and post players Chris Otule and Davante Gardner are solid along with Trent Lockett, a transfer from Arizona State. The Golden Eagles were 27-8 last year and fell to Florida in the NCAA tournament's round of 16 last season. The Golden Eagles are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall, plus 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games. Play Marquette.
