Clemson has great balance and experience. 6-10 senior center P.J. Hall (18.7 points, 6.5 rebounds per game) and Ian Schieffelin (9.6 rebounds per game) crash the glass and the Tigers have the kind of elite guard play you want in March behind senior Joseph Girard III (15.4 ppg) and 6-4 senior Chase Hunter (12.5 ppg). Clemson was fourth in the ACC in scoring (77.4 points per game), third in shooting (.468), and third from the free throw line (.790), while the defense was third in field goal shooting allowed (.418). They were also fourth in assist-to-turnover ratio. Clemson is 39-24 ATS versus winning teams, 7-1 ATS as an underdog, and 21-8 ATS after two consecutive contests making 11 or fewer turnovers. Baylor had a losing road record during the regular season. They prefer to run, but the defense was ninth in the 14-team Big-12 in points surrendered, 12th in field goal shooting allowed (47%), and 10th at defending the 3-pointer (35%). Play Clemson.
