Cincinnati at Northern Kentucky

Cincinnati is 3-0 after defeating Eastern Kentucky 87-69 on Saturday when David DeJulius led five double-figure scorers with 22 points and the Colonels were held to 41 percent shooting. The Bearcats have allowed only 60.6 points per game and last season they were #3 in the American Athletic Conference and #72 in the country in scoring defense with 65.9 points. Northern Kentucky has played one game against a Division I opponent and it got blown out 79-57 by Kent State as the Norse shot just 30 percent overall and the Norse went 5-for-27 from 3-point range. The leading scorer was Trevon Faulkner with only 13 points for the Norse. The Bearcats were not a good shooting team last season when it had a .404 field goal percentage and it has improved to .469 so far this season.
