Cincinnati at North Carolina State

The Bearcats have been Mildcats thus far, but signs of a team beginning to get better are taking place. After suffering their worst loss of the season to UAB, the Bearcats have played tough against three top opponents, staying within 10 points of Memphis, Xavier and Illinois State. Cincinnati has only suffered one loss this season by an amount higher than this spread, and has been playing much better and more competitive of late. North Carolina State has only gotten lopsided scores vs. cupcakes, while most of their games are playing close. Part of the reason is just 29% from beyond the arc, and turning the ball over for every assist, so ball movement is lacking. They are shooting just 45%, and 68% form the line, so droughts during games are keeping games close. Bearcats have proven they are good enough to stay close, so we will grab the points here.
