Charleston and Drexel are a pair of programs that are used to long term success, but they are both down this season from where they have been in the past. Drexel appears to have some scoring punch with four players averaging between 12-18 points per game, but there is a caveat. The four top scorers are taking the bulk of the shots and are combining to connect on less than 40% from the field. That has led to a lot of empty trips, and the 3-point shooting has also been sub par. Charleston has been good defensively, but lacks consistent offense. Early in their games the points have been hard to come by for both teams. Their last seven games have seen a total of just 331 first half points scored or just 47.2 per contest, despite a game played in the 80s vs. William & Mary. No game has seen more than 56 scored in the first half of those last seven. There is no offense in sight for either team, so play the first half UNDER.
