Central Arkansas vs. Sam Houston

A big tournament for Central Arkansas, only the second time they've reached the tourney, the first since 2013.  The Bears, after a late Saturday night correction in the Southland Conference tiebreaking system, emerged from a five-way tie for eighth in the final standings to earn the eighth and final berth in the tournament. "It's an opportunity for us to play again, and we're looking forward to that," said head coach Russ Pennell. Sam Houston State was supposed to have the best team in the conference this season but underachieved. They've lost six of their last eight games and are on a 3-8-2 ATS run. Central Arkansas won the only meeting between the teams this season, taking a 67-65 victory over the conference's preseason favorite, so grab the hungry dog in another close one.
