Canisius at Cleveland State

Canisius has a new coach in Reggie Witherspoon but the Golden Griffins got off to a rough start by getting blown out 93-69 at Kentucky although covering as a 30-point underdog. Kassius Robertson led his team 16 points and Jermaine Crumpton and Phil Valenti added 13 and 12 points, respectively. The rest of the team contributed a total of only 28 points as the Griffins shot 41.9 percent compared to 50.8 percent for the Wildcats.  Cleveland State has some injuries but still almost pulled out a win against Kent State before losing 79-74 in overtime. Bobby Word scored 17 points and Kasheem Thomas added 13 points and nine assists for the Vikings. Cleveland State is 7-0 ATS against MAAC teams and Canisius is 0-4 ATS after an ATS win dating to last season. Play Cleveland State.
