California at UCLA

UCLA is favored, but sits behind second-place Cal in the Pac-12 standings. The Bears had their six-game winning streak snapped, and dropped their first Pac-12 contest of the season in Wednesday’s 77-69 setback to the Trojans in Los Angeles. But don't give up on this team. The Golden Bears are on a 6-1 ATS run, 4-0 ATS against a team with a winning record. UCLA will try and run, but California is second in the Pac 12 in field goal defense allowing 38.5% shooting. UCLA is off a win, but the Bruins are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games following a win. Cal has won four of the last five games in the series, dating back to the 2010-11 season, and the Golden Bears are 7-1 ATS in the last eight meetings. Cal is averaging 82.2 points per game in their last five while UCLA is getting only 78.2 per game over that same span. And the Bears are playing better defense over that time frame as well. Cal is 6-1 straight-up this season vs. good offensive teams like the Bruins (teams averaging 77+ points per game). And the Bears are 6-1 following a conference loss the past two seasons.
