California at Missouri

Missouri lost its season opener to Memphis, but since has won six in a row. After finishing 8-24 in 2023-24, the Tigers were expecting a big turnaround this year and they are getting it. The Tigers crushed Lindenwood on Wednesday, holding the Lions to 36 percent shooting while shooting 50 percent themselves. Of course, California will offer tougher competition as the Golden Bears also are 6-1, but they have split two road contests, including a 16-point loss to Vanderbilt. The Bears have three scorers questionable with injuries for this game. Missouri coach Dennis Gates had the country's fifth-best recruiting class and 13th-best transfer-portal class while California is starting over with no returning starters. Take Missouri.
