Cal Riverside at USC

The UC Riverside Highlanders went to New Mexico, but came back disappointed in a 16-point loss to the Lobos. They were held to 32% shooting, something that will likely re-occur against top-level opponents such as USC. Kevin O'Neill makes his debut on the sidelines as the coach of the Trojans tonight, looking to match or improve upon a 22 win Trojan effort from a year ago. The Trojans have a pair of very good defending guards in Dwight Lewis and Marcus Simmons, and that might help duplicate the Highlanders’ poor showing on offense vs. New Mexico. That should make all the difference in this one, so I'll back the Trojans for a comfortable double-digit win.
