Cal Poly SLO at UC San Diego

Cal Poly does have a signature win as the Mustangs outscored Stanford 63-47 in the second half on Nov. 30 and beat the Cardinal 97-90 while shooting 54 percent. The Mustangs also beat Denver 95-94 in overtime and lost two overtime games against San Jose State and UC Irvine. Mike DeGeorge is in his first year as coach of Cal Poly and he brought in plenty of transfers, which were needed after a 4-28 finish in 2023-24. So far there has been improvement with six wins already and the Mustangs have shown they are capable of pulling off some outright wins let alone covering the big spreads. Both teams have similar field goal percentages at 46 percent and both average about 82 points per game. I'm grabbing Cal Poly ATS and taking a shot on the generous moneyline.
