Cal Irvine at USC

Many remember the Dunk City phenom in the NCAA Tournament several years ago at Florida Gulf Coast. The coach was Andy Enfield and he has been successful at building the program at USC. He has his Trojans off to a 10-0 start on the season. The noose tends to tighten for an unbeaten team, and this could be a dangerous spot. It is the last game of the season for USC vs a team not from a P5 Conference. UC Irvine owns a win over a good Boise State team and they are the type of team that can be frustrating to play. They love to hold the ball and limit possessions. Moreover, this team plays extremely well defensively as no team has shot better than 42% against them, and they allow 34.5% shooting and just 25% from deep. USC could panic here, and this is a long shot, but the moneyline odds are way too high. Add in the fact that under head coach Russell Turner, Irvine is 91-50 straight-up following an ATS loss, and this dog is worth a shot. Take UC Irvine on the moneyline.
