The UC Irvine Anteaters have had a great season so far, as they are 17-9 overall and sit atop the Big West Conference where they have posted an 8-2 mark. The Anteaters are 10-2 over their last 12 games, and should be playing with a chip on their shoulders for this one, as one of their two losses was a 4-point decision in overtimeto this Hawaii team. It was a game that saw them miss 10 free throws which turned out to be decisive. Hawaii started the season looking invincible at home, but have since gone just 2-2 in their last four here, and the losses were by a combined 20 points. Hawaii is not a deep team, so as the season progresses and legs get tired, they may have a tough time finishing games especially vs. the more talented teams such as the one they face here.
